To Market, To Market
– A guide to the best of North East Victoria

Every weekend, you’ll find a gorgeous country market set in an idyllic North East Victorian location, ensuring you’ve got fresh food in the cart to feed your loved ones.

Think drippingly fresh tomatoes in summer, cherries for the Christmas table, crunchy sourdough breads, stunning native blooms, silky smooth cheeses, protein-packed grassfed meat … the list is endless.

Cap it off with a locally made brew, then set the table and gather the crew. Raise a glass to those mighty fine people behind the scenes that spend their time as custodians of the earth, so that you receive the best this region has on offer.

Ponder for a moment those late nights and early mornings, blistering hot summers and cold wet winters – the talent that goes into learning and working with the elements to create the perfect conditions for that very food on your table.

And then there’s market day – out of bed when it’s dark, whispered goodbyes, rush down dust-covered country roads, set up shops, stalls and stunning displays, sale-o, sale-o, until it’s time to pack it all down, go home and do it all over again.

Insider tips from the locals…

We love attending and providing our Premium Boer Goat Meat at Junction Square Wodonga Farmers Market, Wangaratta Farmers Market and Myrtleford Farmers Market – all Victorian Farmers Market Association accredited with beautiful produce from local farmers.

We love the Wangaratta Farmers Market in its blissful locale alongside the Ovens River. Packed full of delicious produce, it’s hard to know which way to turn. We always come home with full hands and full hearts.
